Prior to founding 360 Wealth Advisors with Co-founder, David DiRe, Michael’s distinguished career in Wealth Management spanned 18 years at some of the world’s top financial services firms, including Citi Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, and UBS Wealth Management. The decision to transition to independence was rooted in a desire to provide objective, customized financial guidance and personalized boutique-level service, as well as a need to protect his entrepreneurial freedom.

In addition to over 20 years in wealth management, Michael has also honed his expertise as an owner or investor in an array of successful private business and real estate ventures. Driven by a keen awareness of the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs, his clients resonate with the firm's mission to forge strong connections and orchestrate the interconnected elements of personal, family, and business domains. These forward-thinking individuals find reassurance in 360 Wealth Advisors’ comprehensive approach to financial guidance.

Michael believes that ongoing education and technical knowledge are cornerstones to providing a multidisciplinary approach to holistic wealth management. He serves in a FIDUCIARY capacity as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), the standard of excellence in financial planning, and is an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA). In addition, he helps guide business owners through the transition or sale of their businesses as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®).

Michael’s first experience in wealth management came as an intern while attending The University of Texas at Austin. It was there that he acquired a degree in Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business, while helping lead the Longhorns baseball team to the College World Series in 2000. His strong Texas roots have shaped both his personal and professional journey. He proudly calls Austin home, and shares in his life’s journey with his wife, Kim, daughter, Josie, and their pup, Marshall.
